About Frank Guerino

Frank Guerino is an Enterprise and Solutions Architect with nearly 40 years of experience spanning engineering, enterprise and solutions architecture, business architecture, data and information architecture, software development, and organizational leadership. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and has worked across some of the world’s most demanding industries.

Frank is a pioneer in applying generative and agentic AI to enterprise architecture — building enterprise models, governance artifacts, reusable templates, and continuous-feedback systems that accelerate decision-making, impact analysis, and knowledge transfer. He is known for teaching and enabling client teams to become self-sufficient, and for leaving behind standards, policies, and repeatable methods that sustain value long after an engagement concludes.

  • Merrill Lynch — Head of Software Systems Engineering & Enterprise Technology Architecture. Designed, built, scaled and led an engineering and architecture organization of 60+ onshore and hundreds of offshore engineers and architects managing tens of thousand of applications and databases across global asset management operations.
  • Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ — Assisted the CTO in the design, buildout and scaling of a ground-up enterprise architecture and data governance practice.
  • Merck — Assisted the Chief Architect with the design, buildout and scaling of Merck’s Enterprise and Solutions Architecture practices, digital transformation, and architecture government across multiple Merk divisions.
  • Morgan Stanley Dean Witter — Architect and developer for a hedge fund accounting platform delivered as a managed service to third-party clients.
  • MetLife — Assisted learning and development with the creation and delivery of education and training materials.

Frank is an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) New Jersey Chapter, having served on its Executive Committee, and is a member and researcher with the International Foundation for Information Technology (IF4IT).
